Nailed Information technology! is an American reality streaming television set serial that premiered on March 9, 2018 on Netflix. The series is a bake-off competition in the fashion of reality television, where three amateur bakers compete to replicate complicated cakes and confectionery in club to win a $10,000 cash prize and a "nailed it" bays.

A second season was released on June 29, 2018. A vacation flavour, dubbed Nailed Information technology! Vacation!, was released on December 7, 2018. The third season was released on May 17, 2019. A second vacation season of Nailed Information technology! Holiday! was released on November 22, 2019.[one] The 4th flavour was released on April 1, 2020. The fifth flavor, dubbed Nailed Information technology! Double Trouble, is the serial' get-go spin-off season that features contestants competing in pairs. Information technology premiered on March 26, 2021.[2] The sixth season was released on September 15, 2021.[3]

On March ane, 2022, it was reported that production was suspended on the series after crew members went to strike to secure a contract with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.[four]

The series has received critical acclaim and was nominated for 3 Primetime Emmy Awards, including twice for Outstanding Competition Program and one time for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Contest Program. The latter nomination made Nicole Byer the first Black adult female to be nominated for the award.

Premise [edit]

Nailed It! was inspired by the craze of people trying and failing to brand elaborate cakes they found on the Internet.[5] Three amateur bakers with demonstrated poor blistering skills try to re-create edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize and the Nailed It! bays. Competitors accept function in 2 challenges over the course of the 35-infinitesimal episodes; their efforts are judged past co-hosts Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, joined by a different guest gauge each episode.

All six episodes of the first flavor were released on Netflix on March nine, 2018.[8] The second flavour features vi regular episodes and 1 bonus episode, and was released on Netflix on June 29, 2018.[9] The flavor ends with a crossover special, featuring the "Fab V" of Netflix's Queer Centre series, with the series' food and wine expert Antoni Porowski serving as guest judge. The third flavour was released on May 17, 2019, with half dozen episodes.[10]

The fourth season was released on April one, 2020,[11] followed the fifth flavour premiered on March 26, 2021 and the 6th flavor on September 15, 2021. Due to the COVID-xix pandemic, the fifth and sixth season featured slight differences such as cake selections existence done verbally rather than by running towards them, the rectangular judges panel being replaced by a large semi-circle, and the contestants kitchens beingness socially-distanced.[12]
